Spirit Real Estate Vs. Other Broker Sponsors

Why are agents looking for broker sponsor programs right now? Most of them are looking for 100% commission, which also means that you are looking to earn more off the work that you are putting into your business. Some are just looking for the freedom to sell real estate without the burden of quotas and exorbitant fees.

Whether you are working for a traditional broker like KW or Findit, or working for yourself as in independent contractor, it is your job as a real estate professional to build YOUR brand.

It is all sales, but what you are selling is actually yourself. Yes, the brokerages have varying products but ultimately it is how you sell yourself on whether or not the client is going to use you for their real estate transaction.

Broker Sponsors allow you to build your brand but also keep 100% of the commission, and that is no different at Spirit Real Estate Group. We are a broker sponsor that charges $99 per month which is fairly standard for broker sponsorship programs.

Our transaction fee is $25 which is less than some, and I often hear questions like, why it is so low?

The main reason it is $25, this fee has to branch multiple types of real estate agents like apartment locators.

We Handle the Non-Income-Producing Activities So You Don’t Have to

While there are some broker sponsors that say they take apartment locators, none have the infrastructure that we do. We provide the following services along with our sponsorship for apartment locators:

  • Invoicing
  • Collections
  • Property Relations
  • Vendor Compliance
  • Incentive Distribution
  • Payroll Distribution
  • Franchise Opportunities

The $25 transaction fee takes care of additional expenses that are tied to the transactions and according to our calculations $25 is sufficient to cover these costs. Other broker sponsors charge a higher transaction fee, and you are required to do all of your own administrative duties.

In other words, you are required to performing all of the duties from beginning to end. Like building a car from scratch all by yourself. However, Henry Ford showed that you can increase productivity by sectioning off responsibilities. By making an agent focus on doing a specific task, like just sales, this makes them experts in what they do.

Spirit Real Estate Group, we have taken all of the administrative tasks of owning and running a business so you can focus on what you are good at, sales.

Also, as active real estate agent myself, I know how spending time on non-income producing activities can be taxing. Especially, when you have a full load of clients, you would rather be working on back-filling your pipeline and taking care of your clients rather than having to dedicate time to clients that are already closed.

Want to Own a Franchise?

“A wealthy person is someone who has simply learned to make money when they’re not working”, Robert Kiyosaki

The famous author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad said this to show that earning money from your own activities will never make you wealthy.

I say this because your opportunity to earn more is not just from working yourself to death. It comes from earning off of other agents. You can earn money from agents that you recruit and train up. The only requirement is that you take the 6-hour broker responsibility course which can be used toward your continuing education credits.

No there is no additional cost to your sponsorship, however, you are required to cover their sponsorship dues.

Worried that you don’t know how to manage a team, we provide all of the necessary training and mentorship you may need to build a successful team of your own.

Better Tools Available to All of the Agents

A good tool will not only save you time on your tasks but will make you better at your craft.

With our broker sponsorship service, you are given access to the agent portal where you will be able to learn about the latest tools and how to use them to make you a better salesperson.

An example is our proprietary CRM which is provided with your sponsorship. It was designed and built for simplicity and efficiency. The goal was to make something that will not only make your job efficient, but also something that is easy to learn and very straightforward on concept.

We Don’t Keep Your Commission

Some of you may have heard or even run into the issue where the “broker owns all transactions they are named in”. It is pretty standard lingo in the independent contractor agreement you will sign with a broker sponsor.

What this means is when or if you leave their brokerage, you leave all of your current transactions and in some cases your clients behind because they “own” them.

Yes, they can do that by law, but we don’t think this is right. To me, it’s kind of like a vindictive boyfriend/girlfriend who emptied your apartment just because you break up with them.

Here at Spirit, your transactions are your transactions. When you decide to move on, you can either take the transactions with you, or we can finish them out for you and you still get all of your commission.

No fuss, and we will even wish you well with your future endeavors.

What if I Want to Do More?

Some agents want to supplement their residential sales with apartment locating, or commercial real estate.

We do not pigeon-hole you into one specific market. If you are getting referrals we want to be able to help them.

This includes providing you the necessary training so you can open yourself up to those other revenue streams, along with the tools in order to be successful in them.

Summary

Basically, we have and offer everything else a broker sponsor does, but then we offer so much more with the mindset that everything we are providing you will make you more successful. Not only financially but with your career.

Our belief is not just the do unto others, but also that if we develop successful agents we will have a successful company. Which also means your input is valued because we are always looking for ways we can offer better tools and services for our agents, which will make us better going forward.

Hope this answers any questions you may have, but if not, please fill out the contact form or call us and we will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
